Peggy and Megan Curry are a mother daughter duo that embraces the art of cooking for your health by making life delicious gluten free. We cover every food preference or food related restriction so that everyone feels nourished. We share our knowledge, experiences, and our life stories in our cooking classes, workshops, as guest speakers, and through social media platforms.

I am mother to four active daughters: Alex-30, Meg-28, Annie-25, Sam-24… and wife of Tim for 38 years, my high school sweetheart. I am a passionate healthy-food crusader who loves seasonal, fresh, local food, farmers markets, cooking, sharing meals with family and friends, and just hanging out in our kitchen. I’m also an avid nature lover, photographer, and Yogi. I love to bike and stroll along the beach, and hike and sit in the stillness of the woods along a river. Playing outside, as well as taking quiet times, rejuvenates my soul.
I truly believe with my heart that food IS love! What better way to say “I LOVE YOU” than to serve up a delicious meal made from the heart. The kitchen IS the heart of our home and all of us Curry girls wish to share a piece of our home with you! Megan and I created Curry Girls Kitchen for families who will be inspired to prepare our healthy, delicious meals. Our site shares with you the past 25 years of my cooking classes and our family’s experiences in the kitchen.
Food healed our entire family from a severe autoimmune disorder. Diagnosed with gluten intolerance, each of our varying symptoms disappeared. We went from chronic suffering to living a symptom- and pain-free life in three short months. No pills or special treatments—we simply changed the foods we ate.
I believe wholeheartedly that we can prevent most diseases today by changing our eating habits. Having the discipline to change one’s habits is not always easy. People are curious about cooking with high quality whole foods, but many are afraid of both the cost and time it takes to cook from scratch at home. We aim to dispel the myth that it takes more time and money to eat healthy.
Our goal is to help you embrace the beauty and delight of food and its many facets. You are about to see how cooking can be a positively wonderful experience. And you will also discover how food has the power to unite families and heal bodies. Hi! I’m Megan, number two of four sisters. I have been living a gluten-free lifestyle for over 12 years, since my senior year in high school. Up until then, I had struggled to find the right diet and lifestyle that best suited me. I am extremely passionate about food and its direct connection to our health.
I am living proof that food cures! Before I found a balanced lifestyle the worked for me, I struggled with my health, body image issues, and an eating disorder. After college, and doing my first food cleanse, I decided to take control of my body through the food I chose to fuel it with, and in doing so learned to love myself. I transformed from a malnourished, constantly sick, self-conscious, congested person into a nourished, healthy, confident, satisfied one.
I graduated in 2011 from University of Colorado, Boulder with my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and in 2012 from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Holistic Health Coach.
5 years ago I started teaching cooking classes with my mom, Peggy. After a year of teaching classes, we founded Curry Girls Kitchen. Curry Girls Kitchen’s mission is to educate and inspire others to eat for their health through consciously sourced, simple, and delicious recipes. I work with clients privately, doing meal planning, grocery shopping, one-on-one cooking classes, and nutrition lessons. I also am a private chef, cooking nightly meals for families.
I have found my happy and hope to help more people find their own happy lifestyle!
